Nutrition and lifestyle guidance within the practitioner's scope of practice

2. Complementary Nature of Services
Natural Path Wellness provides complementary health and wellbeing support.
Services are not a substitute for:
Medical diagnosis
Medical investigations
Emergency medical care
Treatment from a GP or specialist
Appropriate pharmaceutical care
Prescribed medication
Eye examinations or other necessary healthcare assessments
No particular outcome, improvement, treatment result or cure can be guaranteed.
You remain responsible for seeking appropriate medical care when required.
3. Scope of Practice & Referral
Natural Path Wellness will provide services within the practitioner's professional scope of practice.
Where your needs appear to fall outside that scope, you may be advised to seek assessment or support from another appropriately qualified professional.
Natural Path Wellness reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service where it would not be appropriate to continue.
4. Booking, Fees & Payment
An appointment is confirmed once the booking requirements have been completed and, where applicable, payment has been received.
Current prices will be displayed on the Natural Path Wellness website or communicated before booking.
Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
Any additional cost associated with recommended herbal products will be explained where appropriate.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
Natural Path Wellness requires at least 24 hours' notice
There is no refund for late cancellations.
6. Missed Appointments
If you do not attend an appointment without providing notice, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation.
Repeated missed appointments may result in Natural Path Wellness declining further bookings.
7. Late Arrival
Please attend online consultations at the agreed time.
If you arrive significantly late, the consultation may need to:
Finish at the original scheduled time;
Be shortened; or
Be rescheduled where there is insufficient time to provide the service appropriately.
Late-arrival threshold: 15 minutes
8. Online Consultations
Natural Path Wellness currently provides consultations online.
You are responsible for:
Having a suitable device
Having a reasonably reliable internet connection
Joining the consultation at the agreed time
Providing an appropriate private environment
Providing accurate information
Informing the practitioner if another person is present during the consultation
Online consultations have limitations because a physical examination and certain other assessments cannot be performed remotely. Where an in-person or medical assessment appears appropriate, you may be advised to seek one.
9. Technical Problems
If technical difficulties prevent an online consultation from continuing, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect or use another appropriate agreed method.
Where this is not possible, the consultation may be rescheduled.
Any refund or rescheduling decision will take account of the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.
10. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and reasonably complete information relevant to your care, including information about:
Health conditions
Symptoms
Medications
Supplements
Herbal medicines
Allergies and sensitivities
Pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant
Other healthcare treatment
Significant changes to your health
You should ask questions if you do not understand a recommendation.
You remain responsible for decisions concerning your health and for seeking appropriate medical care.
11. Prescribed Medication
You should not stop, reduce, increase or otherwise alter prescribed medication solely because of a Natural Path Wellness recommendation.
Any proposed change to prescribed medication should be discussed with the healthcare professional responsible for prescribing or managing it.
12. Emergencies
Natural Path Wellness does not provide an emergency medical service.
If you experience severe, rapidly worsening or potentially life-threatening symptoms, seek urgent medical assistance rather than waiting for a response from Natural Path Wellness.
13. Ending the Practitioner–Client Relationship
Natural Path Wellness may decline or end services where:
The client's needs fall outside the practitioner's scope
Continuing would not be appropriate or safe
Relevant information is repeatedly withheld
Payment obligations are repeatedly not met
There is abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour
The professional relationship has otherwise broken down
Where appropriate, reasonable signposting may be provided.
By booking or purchasing a Natural Path Wellness service, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to read the applicable Terms & Conditions.
